Bachelor of Science in Natural Health

The Bachelor of Science in Natural Health program gives students a broad introduction to traditional naturopathy and a range of other natural health modalities. Topics in this program include holistic nutrition, mind/body healing, healthy lifestyles, universal energy, homeopathy, and herbology. A course in biology provides valuable information about our physical world and how it works. Courses concerning the meaning of health and cancer prevention are designed to stimulate deep thought as well as provide approaches for action.

In this program, students will discover many strategies for helping themselves and their families stay healthy. In addition, they will establish the foundation for continuing their studies at a higher level. After graduation, they may enter the Master of Science in Natural Health or the Master of Arts in Holistic Wellness degree programs. Those who wish to pursue a master’s degree in holistic nutrition may do so after completing certain prerequisites. Graduates who plan to practice as traditional naturopaths or natural health consultants may enter the Doctor of Naturopathy or Doctor of Natural Health program after completing one course in anatomy and one course in intermediate herbology.
