Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Health

This program begins with in-depth studies of the history and philosophy of traditional naturopathy, and includes courses in the human energy field and mind/body health. In addition, students gain an overview of both traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines and also complete five elective courses. All Doctor of Philosophy candidates complete a dissertation. This program includes specific courses designed to aid students in the dissertation process.

Many CCNH graduates practice as natural health consultants. Although not required for the Ph.D. program, students may include some of the practitioner-focused courses and the practicum among their electives and/or add these courses to their programs.
