Doctor of Philosophy in Traditional Naturopathy

Designed to follow either the Master of Science in Natural Health or the Master of Arts in Holistic Wellness, this doctoral program focuses on the essential elements of traditional naturopathy: whole foods, pure water, fresh air, sunshine, exercise, and rest. In addition, the program includes the history and theories behind traditional naturopathy as well as detoxification. There are three general electives in addition to a fourth elective that must be either an herbology or a science course. All Doctor of Philosophy candidates complete a dissertation. This program includes specific courses designed to aid students in the dissertation process.

Many CCNH graduates practice as natural health consultants. Although not required for the Ph.D. program, students may include some of the practitioner-focused courses and the practicum among their electives and/or add these courses to their programs.
