CLAYTON COLLEGE PRESENTS Clayton College's 2004 Natural Health Conference, At the Heart of Natural Health, features 15 speakers; special keynote speeches by integrated physicians Elson Haas, M.D., and Rudolph Ballentine, M.D.; and more than 40 educational sessions, including classes, a popular book-signing event, a panel discussion, peer networking and learning-lunches. We continue the popular tradition of the Plant Identification/Weed Walks with legendary herbal teacher Darryl Patton, while adding new sessions, such as Depression, Anxiety and Mood Disorders with Rodger Murphree, D.C., and Marketing/Business-Building with management consultant and executive coach Cherie Sohnen-Moe. Another newcomer to our conference, but not Clayton College, is Debra Fulghum-Bruce, an expert in writing and publishing for the natural health community. Each year our educational conference grows bigger and better. As soon as one conference ends, we pause only long enough to study the participants' feedback forms and give each other an encouraging hug. Then we take a deep breath, shift gears and begin planning for the next conference. Last year's feedback forms told us the conference participants' favorite instructors and topics, including which breakout sessions would be better if extended to optional intensive sessions. Even if you've previously attended our conferences, you'll find plenty of new topics and new instructors, as well as old favorites, to entice you into returning!
If it's your first time to attend, you are in for a three-day weekend treat. At the Heart of Natural Health will introduce you to some of our most popular speakers from past conferences, including CCNH faculty members: Phyllis Light, AHG, director of herbal studies and Susie Hale, ND, director of student and graduate affairs. More instructors back by popular demand include herbal guru and CCNH advisory board member Linda Page, N.D., Ph.D., renowned nutrition specialist and author of The Fat Flush Plan Ann Louise Gittleman, Ph.D., iridologist Ellen Tart Jensen, Ph.D., and Matthew Wood, AHG. Master Herbalist and educator Daniel Gagnon, and President of Tree of Light Institute, herbalist, iridologist and educator Steven Horne, AHG, are also joining us again. |
