Natural Health: Online Summer Series

Metabolic Syndrome and Weight Loss
with Wendy Arthur, MD

Weight loss needs to occur in the abdomen to reduce risk of the complications of metabolic syndrome, also known as Syndrome X. The complications of this syndrome include increased risk of heart disease, stroke, cancer, and diabetes. Recent scientific studies will be discussed to develop information to share with your clients as motivation to lose the belly fat, or lose their health. We will discuss known environmental, as well as dietary causes and steps to alter the devastating spiral of ill-health if belly fat is ignored.
