Saturday Free Time Activities

The conference schedule includes a block of free time on Saturday afternoon that you may use to relax and unwind inthe Emerald Resort heated pool or at the Tranquility spa. Perhaps you will choose to explore the hotel grounds or take a walk on the beach.

For those of you who prefer to network and visit with your conference friends, we are offering some organized free time activities. Join us for some light hearted learning or movement sessions in the beautiful scenery of Lake Lanier Islands. Several CCNH faculty and staff members will be hosting a walk, hike, run or bike ride around the Lake Lanier Island grounds. Other sessions include:

Well-Springs Movement — With Donna Carey and Ellen Franklin

Movement with colored fabric, journaling, and chalk drawing are integrated into the program calling forth new awareness and assisting in our transformational journey.

Networking Tips for Building Your Business — With Jacque Miller

Using “Networking Cards” developed by Miller, the session focuses on networking with others to build your confidence and your business.

The Five Tibetans — With Bernard Rosen

Also known as the Five Rites of Rejuvenation, these simple techniques improve physical and mental vitality. They can be done in less than 15 minutes and make a great way to start the day!

Making Medicinal Teas/Taste Testing — With Phyllis Light

Join Light for an herbal medicinal tea demonstration and taste testing.

MWalking the Labyrinth — With Wendy Arthur

The labyrinth is a unicursal maze, meaning there are no dead ends. The pattern is the oldest and most prevelent of the labyrinth designs, being at least five thousand years old. Walking the labyrinth is about the journey, relaxing, allowing the mind to problem solve.
