From a private tour of the Chattanooga Aquarium to the Southern Belle Riverboat Cruise, the Appalachian Tour was a fun-filled learning vacation. CCNH hosted its own Educational tour, taking a total of 30 people to Chattanooga to learn about herbal mountain medicine. Darryl Patton, CCNH’s Adjunct Professor and Author, led the tour with his historical plant identification walks and nighttime classes on tinctures and liniments. A special treat for all was our hands-on experience making soap and salve.
