Springtime Seasonal Support Teas

Decongest and Feel Your Best Tea

This is a great tea when colds and allergies result in congested, drippy sinuses. Yerba santa, sage, and nettle aid in drying the excess mucus from the upper respiratory tract without the side effect of over–drying that is common when using antihistamines.

2 parts yerba santa leaves
2 parts sage leaves
1 part ginger root, freshly grated
1 part nettle leaves
1 part peppermint leaves
1/8 part licorice root

Combine herbs in a pot and cover with boiling water. Stir well, cover, and steep for 15–20 minutes.
