Jerry Scaglione, N.D. candidate
“Focused intention always helps you win.”
Most of us can instantly, appreciatively, call to mind someone we know to be a natural-born coach – male or female, young or old.
Not the loud bully with cleats and balled fists, but the calm, helpful observer who’s right there in your corner.
Listening intently, actively making suggestions, giving direct requests and constructive feedback, a life coach goes beyond merely expecting clients to do their best. “We help engage the person’s highest intentions,” says Jerry Scaglione.
While it’s not all about scoring the most points in whatever arena, we strive for continuous improvements in efficiencies such as focus and clarity. Life coaching is all about moving past the impasse, through self-discovery and recovery.”
At home and at work, this man is a natural-born coach.
For the last 20 years Jerry has learned, practiced and taught others about nutrition and fitness. Originally coaching his clients through the physical metamorphosis of lifestyle management, his Advanced Coaching Partners consulting company continues evolving into a holistic wellness brain trust. His ebooks, Why Worry and Designer Dieting, are two gems in a multi-faceted process of self-illumination and conscious discernment.
All of which is far more than just a day job!
Joyfully flexing his time management and self-management skills with three lively preadolescent sons, Jerry chose CCNH so that he could continue practicing what he teaches while he and Diane take time to be present and appreciate the ‘now moments’ of family life: “It’s important to nourish and take care of ourselves and our loved ones with kindness and patient acceptance, as if you were caring for a newborn baby.”
Enrolled in dual degree programs in holistic nutrition and naturopathy, Jerry especially likes Clayton’s e-chats, online testing and conference calls – just as Advanced Coaching Partners clients benefit from his network’s tele-seminars on subjects as diverse as carbohydrate-balancing, negotiating with confidence, and how to stop self-sabotaging.
Jerry Scaglione has written for various media – from print to screenwriting and playwriting. He is an actor, musician, photographer, teacher, martial artist, cyclist, runner and golfer, among other things.
“Some people call me ‘The Optimizer’ because my thrill is to see clients reach their full potential – physically, spiritually and emotionally. When people are fully realized life becomes so much easier, almost problem free, as they begin to attract into their lives abundantly all they truly need and desire.”
From his homepage: “Sometimes we get stuck, confused, or lost (and) we want to move on with our lives and to make changes.…A life coach collaborates with you, interactively, without any preconceived agenda.
The coaching relationship is designed by both of us, and may be refined through ongoing two-way feedback. Even though I am committed to the journey, you are ultimately responsible for actions taken. I let our work together come to life or manifest on its own, allowing the real inner you to emerge into the perfection it was meant to be: YOU!"
