Perhaps you’ve wondered… Just how does a new student begin his or her Clayton College admissions process? Here are excerpts from the enrollment essay submitted by Norma Del Viscio of New Jersey.
…After being cured of cancer for five years, I have faced two recurrences. The second relapse was handled incorrectly and as a result my prognosis was grim. Having faced all the standard therapies, as a single mother of two with a very strong motivation to outlive a situation that seemed hopeless, I got myself together and began to pray from my heart.
“Lord, please show me the way. My soul doesn’t feel ready to go, but my body is in bad shape. Please send me your answer.”
Within three days I received a book entitled There Are No Incurable Diseases: Dr. Richard Schulze’s 30-Day Cleansing and Detoxification Program.
I had never heard of natural health before, but the more I read, the more I believed that herein lies the truth and the direction for total wellness. God had answered my plea and I was now on a quest to learn. I did a self study in a college of one, networking my way into the very welcoming community of natural healing.
…I changed my way of life: mind, body and soul. I practiced full body detoxification with herbs, nourished my cells with organic fresh juices and cleansed my organs with colon hydrotherapy in addition to many other natural healing modalities. Within several months, I was pain free but I continued a rigorous daily practice for two years. I still use these healthy measures, six years later!
The doctors now call me the poster child for recovery. I am at a world renowned teaching hospital where I continue to have regular check ups. Each visit I am asked to tell my story to another new physician. Each new conversation is an opportunity to re-educate the “standard thinking” on the possibility of regaining health.
For years now people with cancer have sought my guidance on how to incorporate natural health approaches. I have been told that I am an inspiration and a positive force in the world, and I knew for some time that God has been calling me to share the natural healing message. But I kept holding back. I thought ‘Why should I do this, I’m secure in my corporate job.’ But the truth was that I was afraid.
After several years of ignoring the call, I have made an agreement with God. I literally said, “If you take this anxiety away from me, I’ll do Your work.” It was no sooner said then done. He freed me of my anxiety and opened every door that needed opening. My life is a miracle, my true passion is sharing the gift of natural healing, and God is the author of what was and what will be for me.
