Perhaps you’ve wondered… Just how does a new student begin his or her Clayton College admissions process? Here are excerpts from the enrollment essay submitted by Beth Voral of Hawaii.

The Threads of Natural Health Are Becoming More Mainstream

“I believe that people have a profound disconnect from their bodies, from the earth that makes life possible, and from each other. Being conscious of where their food comes from, and what it does for (or against) their bodies is an integral part of being fulfilled.

“While buzz words like organic and fair trade become more mainstream, it still seems like a double edged sword. The current trend of ‘natural is healthy’ sometimes lends itself to a shallow acceptance of a passing fad — without a true understanding of the benefits of a true natural lifestyle — or worse, an immediate dismissal as nothing more than a trend.

“On the other hand, at least the threads of natural health are becoming more mainstream, and organic items are in higher demand. The exposure is leading people to become more educated and the more they learn, the more they realize what they’re actually missing! This is something I am truly passionate around…”
