Vincent D’Errico, Candidate for Bachelor of Science in Natural Health

Perhaps you’ve wondered… Just how does a new student begin his or her Clayton College admissions process? Here are excerpts from the enrollment essay submitted by Vincent D’Errico of Rhode Island.

Interestingly, Vincent first discovered CCNH through the recommendation of his own natural health consultant!

Disease Has Shown Me Spirituality

“After being diagnosed in 2004 with a rare neurological condition I began researching the methods and modalities of natural health, initially in an attempt to heal myself. After receiving a Reiki attunement in 2006 I experienced a new emotional sensitivity to other people’s pain and suffering. That’s when I decided that I wanted to help others’ healing as well as my own…

And so disease, for me, has actually been a blessing. It has steered me down the path I was meant to take. Nothing has meaning except for the meaning we give it, and I have learned to treasure the health that I have been blessed with…

I want so much to help people conquer dis-ease but more importantly, I want to teach them how to become more at-ease and peaceful. I feel that completing formal studies through Clayton College will add to my credibility, as I strive to teach others.”

When applicable, CCNH shares our students’ designated web link(s) for further learning and independent research. We do not officially endorse or embrace all ideas or opinions expressed therein.
