From the Office of Student and Graduate Affairs
The exhilaration and enthusiasm generated at the third annual Natural Health Conference is still coursing through our souls! It is always a gift to experience the students and graduates who take time from their busy schedules to join us at these annual events. One of the most exciting aspects for the students and graduates is meeting and networking with one another.
Following last year’s conference, a group of students in the Atlanta area began gathering together. From there, we learned of a group in the Tampa, FL area who began to meet. For several years, a group of students and graduates have coordinated a weekend in Pennsylvania and they generally gather for a yoga or meditation weekend workshop or seminar. If you have a group in your area, let us know! We can provide some support for you to spread the word.
Other opportunities for networking among our students and graduates are also available:
- Joining the faculty hosted weekly live chats;
- Allowing CCNH to post your email address on the reference map;
- Posting notices on the website bulletin board—the N-Forum;
- Joining the CCNH Alumni Association so that you are added to the online directory.
Another exciting way to network with others is to attend the annual ANMA Convention in Las Vegas, July 30-August 1, 2004. Students and graduates can register for the discounted rate of $100! Contact ANMA at www.anma.com or call 702-897-7053 and tell them that you are a CCNH student or graduate. There will be a CCNH hosted event during the convention, so be sure to visit our booth if you attend.
