Who and What’s New in Academics

The Academic Department had a busy summer grading coursework, reviewing courses and talking with you. In addition to the day-to-day activities in our department, Holly Cowan, Susie Hale and Wendy Arthur, M.D. attended Boulderfest in Boulder, CO, an annual nutrition conference devoted to the newest research and information in the field. Anita Barnett and Linda Powell attended the American Holistic Nurses Association annual conference in Arizona and were excited to meet the thirteen students and graduates also in attendance.

Please join us in saying goodbye to a faculty— and family—member. Antoinette Percy-Laurry has left CCNH to relocate to the Washington, DC area. We will miss Antoinette very much. To those students assigned to Antoinette, rest assured that other faculty members will handle your coursework, phone calls, and e-mails until we bring a new advisor “on board.”
