From the Office of Student and Graduate Affairs

Journeying “On the Road” provides some exciting connections for those of us at CCNH who travel to the event, as well as those of you who can participate in these adventures. The NANP membership meeting in Colorado, followed by the annual ANMA Convention in Las Vegas, were two of the most energizing experiences for CCNH staff to “meet and greet” students and graduates from around the globe. Holly Cowan, Wendy Arthur, M.D. and I attended the NANP meeting, and learned about this organization in the company of more than 10 of you, many from the Denver area, as you will read about in another article in this Holistic Times.

Then, at the largest ANMA convention that we have ever attended, we met more than 75 of you! CCNH hosted an early 7:00 A.M. breakfast on one morning of this convention, and over 50 students and graduates joined us. Several graduates stood and shared their natural health journeys during the leisurely breakfast.

Representation spanned the globe, as well as the decades. We met graduates from South America, Asia and Europe, and from more than 15 of our United States. We met folks who had studied with CCNH in the 1980s, 1990s and the 2000s. Our longest termed graduate in attendance at the breakfast completed his program in 1983.

During the entire convention, we received laughter, hugs and shouts of joy from our CCNH family. Many graduates were exhibitors at this year’s convention, and they sent prospective students to our booth. Over and over, those we met said they were told that CCNH was the school to attend. Clearly we all agreed, but it felt terrific to have this confirmed!

Watch for opportunities in your area to meet us “On the Road.” We look forward to meeting you!
