Linda Page Receives 2007 Practice What We Teach Award

During the conference’s opening night activities, Vice-President Kay Channell presented adjunct faculty Linda Page with the 2007 Clayton College of Natural Health Practice What We Teach award. “Linda is a familiar name to most of you as one of the true leaders in the natural health community.

“A distinguished herbalist, nutritional specialist, author, formulator, educator and advocate for health freedom, her prolific writing serves as essential literature in the natural health discipline. Healthy Healing, now in its 13th edition, can be found on most of our bookshelves and has long been a part of the Clayton College curriculum,” said Channell.

Page is a CCNH graduate and adjunct professor for natural health and member of our advisory board. She was the keynote speaker at our first conference in 2002 and has spoken at every conference since. Page travels with us to trade shows, she presents at education days, and she led our first educational travel tour in 2001.

“The thing that I’m always struck by is her willingness to take the time to spend with each person wishing to talk to her. She stops, she listens, she shares, and she makes sure that person knows they are important to her,” said Channell.

“Linda has accomplished a great deal in her life, and we are proud to call her our graduate and our educational partner, but most importantly, she is our friend and a true friend to the natural health community. She is a shining example of our Practice What We Teach award,” declared Channell to an enthusiastic audience.
