Alabama—Clayton College of Natural Health is pleased to
introduce its newest adjunct faculty member, Maureen P. Kernion,
Ph.D. Kernion is a natural health practitioner offering personal consultations
and classes, a frequent guest on radio and television programs,
and the author of Going Natural with Herbs,
which has brought her to 98 book signings across the United States.
In addition, she is a graduate of CCNH’s M.S. and Ph.D.
in Natural Health and is the author of 19 courses in the college’s
curriculum.
Kernion’s
professional certifications include a Louisiana state teaching
certificate, and Pacific Institute Facilitator certification
and Wilson Learning series for training development and delivery
certification. Her 22-year career with BellSouth included working
in sales and service management, corporate learning center training
development and delivery, certification of other instructors
and corporate policy development.
Kernion
and her husband of 34 years spend six months out of the year
on the road traveling and working from their motor home. Kernion
finished her Ph.D., wrote her book, and authored courses all
while on the road. She and her husband spend January and February
in Pharr, Texas at the Mexican border at an RV resort where
they join friends from all over the country. Regarding her wanderlust
lifestyle, Kernion says, “I get to practice my Spanish,
take classes, do my painting, dancing, sewing and other fun stuff.
Additionally, I am always available to my clients while I am on
the road.”
