Language
has not been a barrier for students of natural health and holistic nutrition.
For 25 years Clayton College has had an open enrollment policy for international
students. The college has a number of students and graduates in neighboring countries
Canada and Mexico; in British, Irish and European countries; and, as far away
as Japan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. Although most international students
speak English as a second language, the college has also enrolled students who
have had the program translated into their native language because they want the
education that only CCNH offers.
Connecting
face-to-face with the international, English speaking, natural health community
is the next chapter in the college’s living history. Attending events like
the recent Wellbeing Show in London, and returning for the Mind Body Spirit Festival
in May 2006, offers the college an opportunity to meet some of its international
students, and to connect with other natural health and holistic nutrition enthusiasts
from around the world.
CCNH
is committed to making its education available to the global community. Traditional
naturopaths and holistic nutrition consultants are seeing people become more attuned
to the mind-body-spirit connection as they seek, and achieve, optimal health.
As the world searches for natural and safe health alternatives, Clayton College
encourages everyone to join it in proclaiming a simple truth: the body is innately
designed to heal itself.
