Building
a Natural Health Community: Clayton
College of Natural Health’s
6th Annual Conference
11.16.2006,
Alabama—Clayton College of Natural Health announces its
6th annual Natural Health Conference, Building a Natural Health
Community, at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, April
19-22, 2007, in Peachtree City, Georgia. The yearly event offers
opportunities for networking with students and graduates, meeting
CCNH faculty and staff and interacting one-on-one with leaders
in the fields of natural health, holistic nutrition and herbology.
A
healthy community begins with a healthy self. Conference attendees
can explore the pros and cons of several ways of eating in intensives
like Comparison of Popular Diets, with renowned lecturer, wellness
consultant and author Annmarie Colbin. Compare popular diets
such as the Zone, Atkins, and South Beach, and discover what
works best for your body.
One
of the greatest enemies of vibrant health is excessive sugar
consumption. Attend breakout sessions like High Fructose Corn
Syrup, Sucrose and Health with Wendy Arthur to learn more about
the economics and physiology of high
fructose corn syrup, and review helpful resources to educate your
clients to reduce their risks from the complications of obesity.
Join CCNH graduate Janet Starr Hull to develop a better understanding
of the history of artificial sweeteners, sugars, alcohols and
natural sweeteners, including the FDA approval process in the
breakout session The Sweetener Wars.
With
12 intensives and over 40 breakout sessions, CCNH’s 2007 natural
health conference is bigger and better than ever! Do not miss
the chance to learn how to change your life.
The
2007 conference also brings back the immensely popular plant
walks in the outdoor classroom with acclaimed herbalists like
Matthew Wood, Phyllis Light and Darryl Patton. Due to the demand,
more and varied plant walks have been added to the schedule.
Enjoy the outdoors and learn from professional herbalists.
2006
conference attendee Joanne Williams said the following about
her experience: “The conference was wonderful, the speakers
were high quality. It was ‘life changing’ and I plan
to come again next year.”
Early
registration offers $50 off the $550 fee, which covers all general
sessions, all breakout sessions, breakfasts, snacks and Friday
night dinner. An additional 10 percent discount is available
for members of CCNH’s
Alumni Association.
Hundreds
of students, graduates, staff, faculty and speakers participated
in the 2006 conference, and the college anticipates similar
attendance at the 2007 conference. Treat yourself to a learning
vacation. Be a part of CCNH’s
